We’re excited to invite you to submit your work for presentation at the 2026 Pacific Section AAPG /SPE Western Regional Joint Meeting (PS-AAPG/SPE WR Joint Meeting), 12-16 April, Bakersfield, California, USA. For this conference, submission of a full manuscript is optional. Hence, you have two options:
1. Presentation Only:
· Submit an abstract, and if accepted, you will have the opportunity to present your work at the meeting.
· Abstracts and/or presentations have the option to be archived on AAPG datapages.
2. Presentation + Full Manuscript:
· Submit an abstract, if accepted, you will have the opportunity to present your work at the meeting.
· Submit a complete paper by the deadline, following SPE Author Guidelines on Conference Papers (https://www.spe.org/en/authors/).
· Accepted papers will be published and archived in OnePetro®, SPE’s online technical library.
· Manuscripts must be original (not published or presented elsewhere) and meet SPE’s standards on technical quality, plagiarism, and non-commercialism.
Please note: if you choose the manuscript option, you’ll also need to complete SPE’s copyright and paper information forms.
We believe this flexible approach allows authors to share their work in the format that suits them best—whether it’s a high-visibility presentation only, or a full manuscript archived in OnePetro for long-term impact.
